The Sealed Note
Seal a new note
Anyone with this link can read the note, up to the limit you set.
The part after # is the decryption key and is never sent to the
server, so keep the link intact and store it somewhere your recipient will be
able to reach it.
Writing it down by hand?
This is the same link, in groups that are easier to copy onto paper
for a letter, a will, or an executor's file. It is one address shown on two lines
only so that it fits. Don't forget the #: without it the note cannot
be opened.
The link has a # character between the note id and the
key. Neither the note id nor the key has the letters O,
I, L, or U. Anything that looks
like those characters is a zero or a one. The link works with or without the
hyphens, and a stray space or line break where the two lines meet does no harm.
Sealing another one?
This starts a new note. Copy or write down the link above first: it is not shown again, it is the only key, and nobody can recover it, including us.
